One person, one project, one simple idea.

Tranzlytic was built by a software engineer in Hanoi — someone tired of copy/pasting documents through multiple tools and losing the formatting every time.

Manifesto

We believe in simplicity.

Document translation shouldn't be a complex process. You upload, you receive the translation — with the same format, the same tables, the same images. No copy/pasting through five windows. No re-aligning the layout. No sacrificing the original.

We're not trying to make the world's best translation engine. We're trying to make the most practical document translation tool — for people who need to translate quickly, preserve formatting, and don't want to learn a new software.

If you've ever spent an hour realigning a table after translation, you understand why Tranzlytic exists.

Origin story

Started from a personal frustration.

In 2024, on a project working with Japanese partners, I had to translate about 200 pages of technical documentation. Google Translate lost the formatting. ChatGPT had length limits. Paid tools were good — but the cost and overhead made quick translation impossible.

I started building Tranzlytic as an internal tool. After a few months, friends in legal, marketing, and publishing started asking to borrow it. I decided to turn it into a product.

Tranzlytic isn't a startup with millions in funding. It's the product of one person, built for one real need, and grown from the real feedback of real users.

Principles

Four things we don't compromise on.

Honest about capabilities

AI translation still makes mistakes. We don't promise '99% accuracy' — we tell you clearly what's strong, what needs human review, and where it can fail.

Privacy by default

Your documents aren't training data. End-to-end encryption, auto-delete after 24 hours, no data sold to third parties.

Simplicity first, features later

Every new feature has to pass the test: 'Do users actually need this, or do we just want it for fun?' The answer 'no' wins.

Real support, not chatbots

When you have an issue, you'll be answered by a real person — usually me. Within 4 working hours.

    Q1 2025

    Internal origin

    First version written to solve a personal need — translating 200 pages of Japanese-Vietnamese technical documentation.

    Q2 2025

    Beta with 12 users

    Invited friends in legal, marketing, and publishing to try. Real feedback helped fix dozens of UX issues.

    Q3 2025

    Public launch

    Tranzlytic opened to everyone. Free tier allows 5 documents/month.

    Q1 2026

    EPUB & Markdown support

    Added two formats important for publishing and technical documentation. Improved glossary & custom prompt.
